"Bean to Bar" means that a chocolate maker handles every step of the process, from cocoa beans (Bean) to chocolate bars (Bar), themselves. Unlike mass production factories, they consistently manage everything from sourcing from producers, fermentation and drying, roasting, conching, tempering, and finally forming the chocolate into bars.
